The classic motif of dog and bone is irreplaceable in our hearts.  Here, an exaggerated and cartoonish rendition of a dog holds tightly on to a crystalline bone carved with rich patterns of peony designs in low relief.  As one of the most capricious designs in the 2018 Chinese zodiac Year of the Dog collection, “Hold on Tight to Luck” is the one glass decor work that invokes a sense of celebrating the richness of pure bliss and simple pleasures.  The glasswork hearkens to the old Chinese saying that “with dogs comes fortune”—since once it is found, that wealth is never let go.
