Design Description:

Foo dog in “A Thunderous Presence” rises atop a colorful embroidered ball. Its body and hair are in dynamic motion. The cloud it rises upon is on a high polish surface, revealing the golden liuli color streams from within, adding liveliness of the creation. Different from the classic playful foo dog, this sculpture shows the mighty side. Standing on its powerful hind legs, it grasps the ball with its forelegs. With a majestic and confident gaze, it opens its month for a thunderous roar. It spins the ball in perpetuity, rolling in fortune, a symbol of luck at hand.

《震慑八方》的狮子，仰身而起扑住彩球，腾起的一瞬间，鬃毛飞起，全身充满动感。腾起的彩云，通过侧面的抛光，呈现琉璃内部的金红色琉纹，更为作品加上了动感的韵味。与常见的中国狮子稍有不同， 《震慑八方》体现出狮子威勐的一面，作品中狮子，壮实的身体站立而起，强有力的臂膀，将彩球牢牢把握住，自信神态与张开的大嘴，威风凛凛，彷彿吼出一声气势，威震天下。狮子抱起的彩球，是滚滚的好运，也是吉祥在握的美好寓意。
