The Collection: Year of the Pig

Design Concept:

This design incorporates five celebratory elements in Chinese culture: flowers, butterflies, calabash gourds, pigs and paper-cut decorative patterns. Flowers bloom and butterflies flit under the calabash gourds vines. Calabash gourds (a.k.a Hulu 葫蘆) symbolize fortune and prosperity, butterflies symbolize riches and honor, and pigs symbolize blessings. This is an auspicious composition highlighting the fortuitous qualities of the pig. Two pigs looking at each other in smile, this cheery moment indicates a remarkable companionship. Placed in the living room, entryway, or wherever friends and family gather, this artwork adds an additional element of warmth and togetherness.

葫芦藤下、花开蝶舞。一对福猪相互依偎，构成了一副充满吉祥寓意的“诸事福禄”图。葫芦是福禄，花开蝶舞是富贵，猪是祝福，元素选择上，《福禄圆满诸事好》将各种美好的寓意集于一体，创作细节里，剪纸风格也是琉璃工房对传统艺术传承。大猪小猪，对望彼此笑脸盈盈，一派和谐的景象，正是人与人之间的美好相处，符合琉璃工房“有益人心”的愿景适合新年里陈设于客厅、玄关，举家团圆之际更添温暖。
