The Collection: Horse Series Design Description: The Horse of Earth: Faith- Rooted in the earth, driven toward the heights. This artwork captures a steed galloping upward at a striking angle of nearly forty degrees—its head lifted, mane flowing, muscles taut, and all four hooves suspended in motion. It is a moment of power and defiance, as if the horse were ascending mountain after mountain, transforming speed and strength into flight. This is more than motion; it is transcendence—the bloom of life and faith at the edge of possibility. The mountain beneath it is sculpted from layers of translucent liuli, its blue-green hues born from the fusion of glass and light. To achieve this effect, LIULI Crystal Art employs a second firing process: the amethyst horse is first cast, then joined to a wax mold of the mountain and fused once more in the kiln, allowing the transparent greens and blues to emerge as natural earth tones. The polished triangular peak refracts the inner flow of texture like the movement of tectonic plates, while the purple steed gallops across blue-green ridges, illuminated by shifting light. This is a horse that never stops. Its gallop is not toward an end but for the sake of endless forward motion. The composition emphasizes the diagonal ascent, capturing speed, tension, and kinetic force. The liuli magnifies the dialogue between fire and transparency—pate de verre, multiple firing, fine polishing, and flowing color—all converging to express faith and perseverance. The triangular base is an abstract mountain peak, not one specific summit but the ideal of all summits—the pinnacle in every human heart. As the steed surges upward, it reminds us that every height reached is but another beginning, and with conviction, we rise again—always onward, always ascending. Wind, fire, earth, and air transform into four steeds— Excelsior, Blaze, Faith, and Ascension—each embodying a facet of life’s boundless vitality. They are not mere horses, but living symbols of creation, perseverance, and the unending pursuit of greatness.
