Design Concept:

In designing this piece from the 2017 collection, “A Beautiful World,” there were as many styles of handiwork involved as there are subjects sculpted here.  Studio artists use low relief sculpting, round carving, and the minimalism of “blankness.”  The message found in the motifs is one of abundance, and of richness.  Many elements manifest in this collection—from the full moon to the rising sun—and all of them result in the rich diversity of life in this “beautiful world.

造型源自紫背万年青，形如元宝，故又名花元宝。设计主体以一个元宝外形，寓意富贵招财；以圆雕形式表现顶部三朵美丽开放的元宝花，下方元宝侧面以浮雕刻有兰花、百合等，寓意花好美满。花好月圆，有花才美满，饱满的外形，承载传统的祥瑞图纹，新春佳节，赠予亲朋好友吉祥的祝福。各种姿态的百花，透过琉璃诠释，是多姿多彩，璀璨发光的生命，祝愿未来人生，如花美好，如花绚烂。
