Design Concept: The iconic persimmon in Chinese culture has appeared in literature and art for well over a thousand years. The fruit grows well on the mountain slopes of Northern China and because of its name is often associated with luck in business and affairs. This art piece uses strong symbolism taken from old Chinese expressions, drawing upon all the luck and qi of the four corners of the Earth to manifest in one fruit of the earth. 柿子主体抛光，表现外形饱满金红，展现琉璃剔透的光，象徵生命，彙聚光的能量；“四方上下曰宇，往古来今曰宙”，以简洁的几何十字象徵柿子的蒂，表现集合天南地北的精华，凝结成宇宙下的一颗生命硕果；蒂的上平面抛光，凸显琉纹和气泡，象徵生命力。 柿子饱满金红，丰厚圆硕、形如如意；蒂的旁边饰以对称的四个蝙蝠钱币浮雕，福事连连，硕果常在；因“柿”与“事”谐音，又有“事事如意”的好寓意。
