The saddle is adorned with reliefs of ocean waves, intertwined peonies, and precious flowers, symbolizing prosperity and lasting blessings. A blue sparrow perches on the horse’s foreleg, lifting its small head to meet the steed’s gaze, its expression mirroring that of the horse. It seems to welcome the triumphant ruler with melodious music. The horse is not only valiant but also embodies the refined demeanor of a noble gentleman and attentively listening.
Technique: Crafted using the pâte de verre technique, the horse’s head and neck form a graceful, smooth arc that showcases craftsmanship’s attention to detail. This arc, resembling a crown, highlights the "three flowers" of strength and gentleness combined, adding a regal touch to the artwork.
