The Collection: The Majestic Age of Ruyi

Design Concept:

This tabletop handmade ornament is another LIULI creation inspired by the classic Chinese concept of “Ruyi.”  Blending the swirling symbol itself in intricately carved patterns with the shape of a traditional Chinese sycee (gold nugget) the glasswork combines the hope of fulfilling wishes with fortunes and wealth.  Being much more than just a token of good luck, the ruyi is a reminder that one can be inspired to achieve anything they desire.  The symbol is drawn from over two thousand years of Chinese history, and is the greatest compliment someone can pay to give their blessings and good wishes.

设计概念:

1. 跳脱了常见如意造型，而以阴刻方式将如意包裹在圆中，从顶部抛光面，可窥内有乾坤，如意静卧其中。
2. 传统吉祥纹饰，蝙蝠与松树，分别代表福气和长寿，两者组合「福寿双全」。　　　 　 　　　　　　　
3. 如意两端的蝙蝠，翻转于正面，如意手中握，福寿在握，岁月静好人和美。
