Yang’s Tranquil Heart lotus flower represents the transcendence of worry and achievement of purity.  The lotus blossoms by rising through mud, symbolizing purity and flawless peace.  This exceptional type of beauty comes from within, a power of cleansing the heart and freeing oneself from negativity.  That purity is embodied in this glass piece, an artwork that expertly uses transparency to its advantage and expression.

而清净无染的莲花，就如超越烦恼，所产生的智慧。 日日以清水供养，心自清明，烦恼尽扫。 莲花，也有平安和美之意， 对于不修佛法之人而言，也是日日平安的质朴祈愿。 一朵琉璃供花，是“色空”之悟， 是“一切本无，当下即是”之悟。 供花，也是供心， 供清净无暇，透明澄澈，心中的坚定无疑。 琉璃的澄明，提醒着自身的谦卑， 保有初心，生活里无处不在的禅意。
