Design Description:

The Buddhism Godness Guanyin creel, also known as the Ti Lan Guanyin or the Maritime Guanyin, is often depicted as a young woman holding a fish basket, standing or riding on the back of a turtle, fish, or dragon; to meet the needs of the human world, Guanyin has many manifestations. One of the most popular is the Buddhism Godness Guanyin, who is portrayed as a beautiful young fish vendor. She is like a goddess descending to the human world, bringing compassion and wisdom to all. The meaning behind this form of Guanyin is that one should always have confidence in whatever they do. With unwavering faith, one can gain support from the universe and ultimately achieve success, while also positively influencing those around them. Additionally, the Fish Basket Guanyin symbolizes blessings for "happy marriages and growing old together." The entire depiction expresses the dynamic posture of Guanyin. With a fish basket in hand, her right hand lifts her clothing, and her feet step on a lotus flower, walking forward with determination. This artistic representation is captured in the sculpture work by Loretta Yang.

鱼篮观音，亦称提篮观音，航海观音，其法相多为脚踏鳌，鱼或者龙背，骑乘于上，或者手提盛鱼竹篮的少妇形象。 为了满足人间的需求，观音有许多化身，其中最受欢迎的一种形象是鱼篮观音。观音装扮成年轻貌美的鱼贩，宛如女神下凡，走入人间，带给世人的是慈悲与智慧。 这一形象背后的寓意是做任何事都要有信心，只要树立坚定的信心，就能得到更多的帮助，并最终取得成功，同时也能影响周边的人们。鱼篮观音兼有护佑“婚姻美满，白头偕老”之意。这件作品在表现观音动态的姿态，手提的鱼篮，右手挽起衣摆，双脚踏莲花，步步向前，是艺术家杨惠姗在雕塑上的表现。
