Design Concept:

This liuli sculpture of a personified fish invokes a sense of jovial confidence while alluding to a scenic and calming undertone.  The sculpture above gives the impression of an outward and gregarious attitude; complimenting it, however, is a clever use of minimalist aesthetics and negative space in the base.  With colors and negative relief in the abstract form of “shanshui” (Chinese landscape design), “My Spectacular Stage” comes together with a perfect balance of outward expression and introspective contemplation—two equally important elements to confidence and vivaciousness.
