Design Concept:

While the lotus flower is frequently represented in Asian and Buddhist artworks, its leaf is a far less discussed element.  Still, the imaginations of LIULI studio artists bring to you here a glasswork sculpture of the elusive lotus leaf.  Fired over in several shades of verdant greens, this artwork depicts the one responsible for holding up the divine lotus flower.  It lifts up the most gorgeous flower from the mire toward the heavens.  The lotus leaf is the throne on which the crown sits.
