The lily flower belongs to the month of May.  It blooms during this quiet transition from spring to summer, without the ostentatiousness of the peony or the peach blossom’s luridness.  The lily invokes beauty in simplicity.  This decorative glass piece by LIULI studio reflects that quiet confidence, manifested in the subdued yet penetrating color tones of a very lucid beauty.  Coming from a collection of twelve flower glassworks, each representing its respective month of the year, the lily reigns over May.
