Design Concept:

The classic Chrysanthemum is one of LIULI studio’s most beloved flowers and a treasured “gentleman” of four in Chinese literature.  The orange blossom appears in the middle of autumn, when all other flowers die.  For this reason, it is both celebrated for its vitality as well as its bittersweet sentiment.  This glasswork is one of twelve in a studio collection of flower art pieces representing the months over which they preside.  Blooming in the dead of September is this gorgeous hallmark of Chinese beauty—the Chrysanthemum.
