Design Concept: Guardians of Peace Buddha embodies compassion and wisdom, and the Buddha sculpture is a reminder for all of us to love and to care.“Present Mindfulness” is a set of three Buddhas: Amitabha Buddha, Shakyamuni Buddha and Medicine Buddha, representing the past,the present and the future of cultivating peace. They remind us that the past is understood through learning, and the present is understood through cultivation. This gives us a grasp of the future and releases us from apprehension. Shakyamuni Buddha guides all beings to practice compassion through their actions, words and intentions. With boundless artfulness and intelligibility in his prose, he enlightens all beings to understand the truth and enter Buddhism, and he guides people in the present to realize the true meaning of Buddha-Dharma. In Buddism, praying to Shakyamuni Buddha is for enlightenment, peace and happiness. 概念设计说明: 护愿平安 佛，是慈悲与智慧的象徵，而佛像是一种提醒，让我们对世界有爱与关怀，在纷扰的世界，欣赏佛像的当下，也得到心灵的宁静。此作品为三宝佛系列之一，三宝佛即阿弥陀佛、释迦牟尼佛、药师佛,代表过去、现在、未来的修行与正念思考。提醒的是:透过学习，知道过去;透过修持，知道现在。我们可以对未来有一种了然，没有疑惧。释迦摩尼佛引导人们身常行慈、口常行慈、意常行慈，以无量的善巧和方便说法，令众生入佛知见，引导现世之人了悟佛法的真实含义。人们祈求释迦牟尼佛，以求破迷开悟、离苦得乐。 |
