Design Concept:

The “Peach Blossom Spring” mini-series artworks are the bon vivants of the “Flowers of the Earth” collection.  Clever color techniques betray a strong hint of traditional Chinese ink-wash painting.  The sculpture work transforms this historic style of painting to a three-dimensional living and breathing expression of the spring season.  In this piece, not only are the many tones of spring produced, but much of its life as well.  Through sculpting light and bending color in this artwork, artists successfully bring out the song in spring.
