But here, in this artistic interpretation from the collection “Flowers Of The Earth,” it is—and it indeed nods its head to the sacred significance of the flower in Far East culture. LIULI studio artists, moved by the gravity-defying resilience of such a humble flower that rises from the mud, attributed the most resilient and passionate color available to them in glass form—fiery red. While the purity of the lotus in spiritual texts is unquestionable, so is its determination and passion.
