Design Concept:

The Peony, here sculpted into a dazzling crystal flower art piece, is known as the king of all flowers and zenith of nature’s beauty.  It is the one that the Chinese have held in great esteem for millennia, and it was often reserved solely for those of royal descent and as a symbol of opulence and prosperity. Peony conveys blessings of fulfillment, passion and splendid harmony. The glasswork which combines vase and flower takes its viewer through an honest examination of both inner and outer beauty. Layers of pedals growing upwards form an abstract and solid pillar just as we all form a society. View the self through flowers, view the world through a vase. In the grace of the peony, we are shown the serenity in life.

水晶琉璃牡丹，脱蜡铸造技法手工制成。牡丹因花型宽厚，大而艳丽，被称为百花之王，视为富贵昌盛的象徵，有着圆满、浓情、雍华富贵的祝福。设计上，层叠的花瓣自成一体，延展成抽象的方柱，却相簇拥成一朵盛放的花，如同我们共同成就一个社会的美好。琉璃工房以花，隐喻纷杂世界的相处之道，因为和谐共生，必须不自我，不排他，方致共生华美。以花观己，以瓶观世界，从作品牡丹的雍容，看见生命的从容。
